Todd founded Montalbo Financial Services (MFS) to help people achieve their financial goals.
Headquartered in Juneau, MFS works with clients across Alaska.
Todd has over 10 years of experience as a financial advisor. He holds Series 7 and Series 66
financial licenses and Health and Insurance licenses and is certified to do business in Alaska and
the Lower 48.
Todd grew up in Cooper Landing and Girdwood. He competed in Nordic skiing, winning regional
and state titles through high school and representing the United States at Junior World
Championships. Todd attended the University of Alaska-Anchorage, earning All American
honors and a degree in education.
After school, Todd started and ran a successful construction business, where he realized his
true passion was working with people, so he pursued a career as a financial advisor. Thanks to
the trust he established helping people build their homes, many of these homeowners became
Todd’s first financial clients.
Todd and his wife fell in love with Juneau when she worked for the Legislature and decided to
make it their permanent home. Minta helped Todd set up his financial practice and now works
for the state. Todd is active in the Glacier Valley Rotary Club and serves on the Arctic Winter
Games board of directors. Their sons, Tobin and Max, ski and play soccer.
When not providing financial services to clients, Todd commercial fishes for salmon and crab
and explores the waters of Southeast Alaska with his family. Alaska is an amazing place to live!
